State Road #91 Turnpike Mainline

Our subsidiary, Community Asphalt, is performing this $32 million contract to mill and resurface over 15 miles of State Road #91 Florida Turnpike Mainline that extends through Martin and St. Lucie counties. The project also corrects cross slope and repairs guardrail and box culvert. Other work scopes include new signing and pavement markings, rehabilitating several bridge structures by installing new bearings and expansion joints, and repairing the bridge deck. Work on this project takes place during both daytime and nighttime hours.

The project team’s impressive safety performance was recognized by OSHA, who awarded Community Asphalt with the Sunshine State Safety Recognition Award.
