To advance opportunities for commercial development between I-355 and the city of Orland Park, Illinois Department of Transportation awarded a $66 million contract to our subsidiary, Judlau Contracting, to perform roadway reconstruction and widening of over five miles of Route 7/159th Street between Gougar Road and Will-Cook Road. The scope of work also included additional roadway widening of related crossroads along the route.

Work activities carried out by the project team included site excavation, pile driving, and placement of concrete structures, as well as installation of storm sewer, pipe culverts, precast box culverts, three retaining walls, two pile-supported embankments, traffic signals, and other associated work. The project team had as many as 14 crews working along the route, with as many as 25 pieces of equipment on site.
