Boca Raton Regional Hospital, Marcus Neuroscience Institute Addition

Our subsidiary, OHLA Building, Inc., served as construction manager on the $25million Marcus Neuroscience Institute Addition, a state-of-the-art care center for neurological and neurosurgical patients in the region. This addition of approximately 52,000 square feet houses 22 Neuroscience Intensive Care andStep-Down beds. All the rooms are equipped with special monitoring capabilities that provide vital information on the patient’s neurological and cardiovascular functions. Two new Neuroscience-Operating Rooms were planned as structural shelled expansion space. The program also included several CEP mechanical and electrical upgrades, including a new larger water chiller, pumps, controls, electrical switchgear, a new above-grade fuel tank, and expansion of emergency gear.
